Medico della Peste

The Venetian Carnival costume, Il Medico della Peste (The Plague Doctor), is what the common depiction of a plague doctor is today. Traditionally made of leather, the mask includes glass eyes and a hollow beak with holes, which act like a respirator. It is said that the beak held herbs and other aromatics to counteract the toxic air, or Miasma.

Medico della Peste features a black base with a large particle intense and reflective bronze shimmer and a hint of golden-green shifting shimmer.
